Live Zoom Session
Loading session...
AI didn't kill lead gen or PPL. On this live session, Herc Magnus builds a brand new site on screen, installing the exact page type that has already gotten his other sites cited in Google's AI Overviews within 48 hours, plus a pay-per-lead setup backed by his own per-call test numbers. Then everyone who's in follows the site as it climbs and earns.
Everywhere you look, someone's declaring lead gen dead because of AI, and pay-per-lead dead because the payouts are too low to bother. Both claims fall apart against real numbers, and this session brings the numbers. Everything below already happened on real sites; the only thing that hasn't happened yet is the site you'll watch get built.
The AI Overviews Proof
Already happened, on our sites
Google's AI Overviews filters lead gen sites out on purpose. It cross-checks the real world: licenses, verified business profiles, trust signals. It told Herc directly that his Scottsdale General Contractors site wouldn't get cited because Arizona contractors need an ROC license it couldn't verify. No trust signals, no citation. That's the mechanism behind every "lead gen is dead" post you've read.
So Herc's team tested their way around it, in public. First attempt: rebuild the Scottsdale site as a full micro-directory ("we help you find a licensed Scottsdale contractor"). Impressions jumped from about 75 a day to over 400, so the theory held: AI wants information it can cite. But the rebuild cost the site its identity as a business, and conversions took the hit. When a site stops looking like a company, fewer people call. Half a win.
The refined play fixed both sides: keep the business site exactly as it is, and ADD the informational layer. A per-service interactive Cost Calculator page: the visitor gets an estimate, the call to action nudges the phone call for an accurate quote. The page feeds AI Overviews AND feeds the phone. On the sites this has run on, citations followed within 24-48 hours, for the money keywords and the informational ones. Business identity intact, conversions intact.
That's the track record. It's why this webinar exists, and it's the exact page type you'll watch get installed live. And Scottsdale isn't a one-off: the same play is landing citations across completely different niches. Paint protection film in Orlando. Deck building in Baltimore. Spray foam insulation. Different markets, different services, same mechanism. The screenshots below are the receipts.

The PPL Numbers
The honest version
For years Herc publicly said he'd never use PPL networks, and he meant it: the network is a middle man taking a cut, the payouts are low compared to a direct buyer, you give up control, and there's a hidden gate almost nobody warns you about: finding a niche you can actually rank AND that has a decent offer attached is two problems stacked on top of each other.
But the direct model has its own price: prospecting and sales, the exact thing most people hate. PPL never needed either. The site generates a call, a buyer pays for the call, done. So the question became: fix the two problems, keep the one advantage?
On April 13th he started testing on his own sites, routing every call through call tracking to measure the money per call. His plan was to say nothing publicly until he'd hit $1,000 inside 30 days. He hasn't hit that bar yet. Ninety days in, the real numbers: 8 converted calls, $423.85 total, $52.98 per call blended, the best campaign paying $78.97 per call ($236.90 from just 3 calls). Each month stronger than the last, June the strongest yet, tests still running.
It's not life-changing money, and he won't pretend it is. But the part he wasn't sure about is settled: real buyers pay real money per call, off a ranked site, with no client, no prospecting, and no sales calls. What's left between $424 in 90 days and $1,000 in 30 is a numbers problem: more sites, more campaigns, more testing. That scaling work is exactly what the DWY 2.0 cohort does together, and you'll hear the full story, with the numbers on screen, at the top of the session.
The Ranking Speed
Short credibility note
One more piece of context, because it’s the part of this Herc has done the longest. Fast rankings aren’t new for him. Sites built with his full process (KillerEMD domain selection, then the Agent X build and optimization) have hit #1 in as little as 6 hours, on a domain that was 6 hours old, and plenty more have landed inside 24 to 48 hours, a week, or a month. That’s a repeated, documented pattern across many sites over years, not one lucky screenshot.
What’s genuinely new is the combination. In his words: “I’ve ranked sites fast before. What I’ve never tried before is combining AI Overviews citation and PPL in the same build.” The ranking speed is proven. The combination is the experiment, and it’s the one you’ll watch start from zero.
What You'll Watch Live
One brand new site, built on screen in real time, no edits. Herc installs both mechanics on it during the session: the AI Overviews cost-calculator page (the same page type from the track record above), then the pay-per-lead call-only setup. He narrates the whole way: why each step matters, what the automation is doing, which niches convert on PPL and why.
To be completely clear: the new site won't rank, get cited, or earn anything during the call. That's not how SEO works, and nobody honest will tell you otherwise. What you watch is the build itself, both mechanics going on, live and unedited.
After the build: the full Digital Lease Assets system walked end to end (a lot of attendees know one of Herc's tools and have never seen the whole thing), a price comparison he'll just leave on the screen, the DWY 2.0 announcement, and live Q&A that stays off the replay.
What Happens After
Follow the site
The webinar build doesn't go in a drawer when the call ends. Everyone who's in follows this exact site from day zero: the indexing, the rankings as they move, the first call, the first dollar, and every dollar after that. The work AND the money, as they actually happen. You don't just watch it get built. You get to watch it earn.
And DWY 2.0, Herc's rebuilt six-session live Done-With-You cohort, starts Tuesday, July 21st: you put the same two mechanics on a site of your own, with him, session by session, starting with the pay-per-lead path so your first revenue needs no client and no cold calls.
What you'll walk away with
- The AI Overviews mechanism: why lead gen sites get filtered out, and the page type that has already gotten Herc's other sites cited within 24-48 hours (shown with real impressions data, including the rebuild test that taught the team what not to sacrifice)
- The Live Build itself: a brand new site getting both mechanics installed on screen, the AI Overviews page and the pay-per-lead capture, the same build the DWY 2.0 cohort runs start to finish
- Follow-the-site access: everyone who's in follows this exact site afterward, the ongoing work, the rankings as they move, and the revenue as it comes in
- The pay-per-lead model: how ranked sites earn with no client and no cold calls, which niches convert best, and Herc's own 90-day test numbers, told honestly, unhit benchmark included
- The complete Digital Lease Assets system, walked end to end: find, build, rank, rent, and the tool that handles each step
- Everything about DWY 2.0: the six-session live cohort starting Tuesday, July 21st, and how to build your site alongside Herc's from session one
